One more thing..I've been trying to clarify another question in the on-line quiz..no. 15..Just want to know why the answer is False..Is it because identification and classification should be based on the SDS and not on using the criteria contained in the regulations (IMDG and IATA)?

Hi Lester, thank you for your feedback. The answer is false because the substance has to be identified and classified by the criteria contained in United Nations Orange Book.

However, I agree that user may argue further that the answer can be true in case of sea shipment (IMDG) or air shipment (IATA). Therefore we revised the question as "Before any consignment is offered for transportation the consignor/shipper is required to identify and classify the substance or article using the criteria contained in UN Orange Book"
